University of Kent GREAT Scholarship Details



The University of Kent, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, is offering the GREAT Scholarships 2025 for students from China, France, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, and Turkey.



These scholarships provide a £10,000 contribution towards tuition fees for a one-year taught postgraduate program at the University of Kent’s UK campuses.

Applicants must have received and accepted a conditional offer for a 12-month postgraduate course at the University of Kent by the application deadline of April 25, 2025.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to represent the GREAT brand and the UK higher education experience, enhancing their personal and professional profiles.
University of Kent GREAT Scholarship Requirements

To be eligible for the University of Kent’s GREAT Scholarship, applicants must:Citizenship and Residency: Be a citizen and resident of one of the following countries: China, France, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, or Turkey.
Fee Status: Be classified as an overseas fee-payer.
Academic Offer: Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time, 12-month taught postgraduate course at the University of Kent’s UK campuses, starting in September 2025.
Field Engagement: Demonstrate a strong interest in their chosen field of study, supported by relevant work experience or other forms of engagement.
UK Higher Education Commitment: Commit to actively participating in both academic and extracurricular activities during their studies, embodying the UK higher education experience.
Ambassadorship: Be willing to represent the GREAT brand and act as an advocate for UK education, including attending a networking event with other GREAT scholars.
